Still trying to shake the feeling of being jinxed, anything that could go wrong, has done in the last couple of days. Luckily I haven't followed the football this world cup so I won't be adding there defeat to my list of complaints!
Anyhow I made a decision yesterday to stop with the moaning and maudling it just gets boring after a while. The computer is still broken but people have been reassuring me that there will be a more affordable way of getting it fixed. The ebay seller is ignoring my emails and as I have already given them feedback I'm not really sure what else I can do. It is quite possible that our timing was just really unlucky as oppposed to the seller selling us a dud so I may just let it go. And the silver lining, although not particularly silver, more grey, is that we didn't loose anything, the hard drive could have been full of photos, artwork, music etc if we'd had it a while. So hey hum, life goes on. I won't be buying a lottery ticket just yet and am avoiding any risk taking until my luck takes a turn for the better but the rain clouds have lifted so all is well. Thanks for your comments, they are whole-heartedly appreciated!

There must be a special something in your garden. Just for you!
I'd say the seller should respond. But in and of itself, a lesson to buy a new computer and not a used one. I have had to wait ages and wait on still, until I am able.
So glad to see the moon where it's standing. Missed it when it wasn't out. the Who cannot be so far away tho...not yet? An experience times two!
Mine will be coming up but I don't have a camera! That's how old I am AND my computer. You're okay Moonpie in everything!

Hi Moonpie,
Well, one of WC faves if out, but I am still rooting for the mother country France tomorrow since the fatherland went up in flames tonight. Jazzed about meeting up with bloggers and seeing the finals in England, though.
Good to see the clouds have lifted.
Cheers,

Hello Ladies!
The computer troubles are gradually getting sorted. The ebayer did get in touch, eventually but by the time he did we were well on the way to sorting it out ourselves. We are currently online using the hard drive from our old computer and are awaiting a new one in the post. So getting there!
Gina,
Happy you have a good view of the moon at the moment, I love the waxing moon because it reflects in the river and I can see it from my window, bliss!
Anne-Marie,
Bonne Chance avec le football!
Sue,
You've got me dancing again!
