I posted these pictures yesterday afternoon but blogger didn't appear to acknowledge them then I looked this morning and they had just appeared v.strange!
So anyway a short explaination. The pictures of the band we took we're so bad, blurry and not really capturing the moment, that I decided to post a few silly ones of me for your amusement!
1.) Excitedly waiting outside Leeds union before the gig, you can just see the queue in the distance. I was just telling Mick that I'd would quite like to be a 'Clara the long distance driver' if I could have a big purple lorry containing Who equiptment. His reply was that I live in a dream world. : )
2.) Very blurry but you get the idea!
3.) The way everyone in the audience hold there cameras and phones above their heads taking photos during the gigs can get a little annoying but sometimes when my view was completly blocked I was able to see through the guy's camera in front of me, he was filming and had a great zoom, he got some great little clips.
4.) Half way through the gig Mick taped me on the shoulder and got me to look up at the camera.
I think he captured the joy... and the sweat ...and the fizzy hair, thanks Mick!
5.) The lovely Pete!
6.) When we got back to our hotel after a quick shower and change we took this one with our proudly newly purchased programme. The idea was to pretend to our friends we we're hanging out with the band but don't think we'll be able to persuade them that they are only 5'' tall. We look like a complete pair of loonies!
After this we went down to the hotel bar where we met, after being nosy and asking to look at the photos they we're watching on their laptop, the men who put on the original gig. They'd had a right good day of it, hanging out with Pete and Roger and Peter Blake. They had some great pics and that kind of rounded off the evening well, well that and listening to Live at Leeds till four in the morning in back in our hotel room, again watching the world go by outside the window, while Mick smoked crafty forbidden fags. All in all a top night, one of the best. Now for Leeds part two!

You probably saw the Newsnight feature on the Leeds show. Quite a few clips, and interviews with Roger and Pete. I managed to hit the video button for most of it and can provide a download link in the future. There is a BBC link at the moment to re-watch the programme:

Ian,
Thanks. Yes I did catch it. It was a great piece. I just read that Pete is having to shut down TBWHM blog. How sad! Bloody press, they're so trashy, I'm surprised they aren't all in Germany starting fights with the locals. Why are they so determined to drag everyone down to their level? Grrrr, I dispair!
Shame to take down the whole blog though, I'm still so curious about the Method. But anyway, ta for the link!
Sue,
Hiya, glad you enjoyed the Who fix.
I did my very best to wave to a camera and did manage it right at the end when the gig had finished, don't know who's camera it was though. Didn't want to leap in front of one of the cameras they were using for the film cause they looked so proffessional and I may have got chucked out. : )
Sorry the photos are a bit shit, I'll try better next week!
