The scent of warm Earth,
warm water,
warm air,
warmed by the fire on high.
Cooled in it's absence
as gently night falls
apon the dusk lit sky.
Just been down to the allotment and all is looking happy and strong. Had a very pleasant BarB and pottered. Trying to remain calm. My friend gave me 'Fantastic Mr Fox' by Roald Dahl for my birthday. It was my absolute favourite when I was a kid and it hasn't disapointed me reading it again, it's magical. So anyway I have my warm milk and I'm now off to read my book and hopefully I will remain calm and get off to sleep no problem...just don't mention the L or the W word.

Oh, I missed the live broadcast. Can you believe what a life I have? No one understands, that I just can't pick up and leave my computer anymore!!!

I never lived thru anyone before, let alone someone I know only cyberly. But, today dear, I would like to live thru you :)......torture me with every detail!!

Hi Moonpie,
I hope you had a great time tonight. My fave Dahl book is the Vicar of Nibbleswicke- the vicar has oral dyslexia and mispronounces everything. It's naughty and hilarious.
