Hi all! Well I have survived my first plane journey and I've discovered an absolute love of flying. It is so much fun! I'm already planning the next flight, I really want to fly during the day so I can get a good airial view of the countyside. I could only see the lights of the cities on both journeys this time, which did look amazing and has change my perception somewhat but I'd love to see the lay of the land. Thanks for all your well wishes, fellow bloggers and the encouragment of mischief, not that I need much encouragement! My friend and I had such a great time, non-stop laughing and chatting, ooh once we get going there is really no stopping us. And it really was like being twelve again, probably due to all the new experiences but also, strangly enough, when we were in bars or cafes we kept hearing songs we used to listen to when we were young and we bumped into an old school friend we haven't seen since we left. We also had a very funny time at a classical concert that really took me back to my school days. Determined to get a bit of culture we decided to go to a concert at Municipal House, a stunning art noveau building, we sat right at the back, just as we always would in class and during the concert, due to a very loud squeaking caused by the foot taping of a spectator sat near us, we were overcome by an extremely immature and uncontrolable fit of the giggles. Just one sideways glance in the direction of my friend and we were off. It also prooved infectious, as we then set off two ladies sat in front of us . The very serious nature of the rest of the classical audience and the giggling coming from the ladies in front made stoping nearly impossible. We were so pleased when it was finished and proceeded to spend the rest of the evening in hysterics!
I must go home now but I'll post more about Prague later, the photo is of one of the statues on the Charles Bridge, it's Francis of Assisi, my favourite Saint, due to his allignment with nature, I didn't know it was him when I took it, it was just another happy coincidence. As I have a crap camera I had to mess about with it in photoshop to lighten it up, I also wanted to try to capture the spirit of Prague a bit better, hence the mysterious sky!

This was your first time on an airplane, Moonpie? Geez, I didn't realize. Sounds like the world became smaller outside, tho, with you bumping into an old friend. Which reminds me, I need to write a pile of postcards and you too, to send to those back at home!
Nice image. I like what you did with the sky. I love blue!

Hello Gina,
Yes! The world got a lot smaller. What really struck me was the speed, to get so far so fast, that kind of stumped me, I hadn't really thought about that side of it, all I had thought about was the actual act of flying and what a perculiar thing it is, but you just get used to that within minutes. But the speed is so strange, my usual speed limit is as fast as I can cycle, I don't enjoy fast cars but the feeling of the the take off, when you suddenly speed up is so thrilling. My carbon footprint is fucked, I love aeroplanes!

Geez, and you used the f-word. There's something innocent about never having flown, which you can't say anymore. Nope. Given leaving your footprint and all. I take it you're home now, so welcome back to Blighty.
It's a fun game to take a word or, I was using the titles to short stories, you can use any words of course to make poems or kinds of poems. For Valentine's, take your boyfriend's name (and naturally don't sign the card). Anyway, I'm really glad you enjoyed the poem game. I am feverish today. Pig-eyed, you name it. I'm terribly phobic of germs and here I've been going to the gym and I've caught something. I just wrinkled my nose.

Gina,
Sorry you're ill. I work with the public, in fact students who are always ill, (due to the partying) and mostly seem to have not learn't basic hygiene precautions, like covering there mouths when coughing, I came down with Tonsilitus four times last year, it's a nightmare, so know how you're feeling, horrid, hope you have a speedy recovery.
Funny when you said, 'just wrinkled my nose' I couldn't help but wrinkle mine. When I was little I wanted to be Samantha out of 'Bewitched' and I've been a bit of a nose wrinkler ever since. (Never got it to work though.)
Good old Blighty! My boyfriend just put on 'Frankly Mr Shankly' by the Smiths. He was singing it when I came in!
