We had a camping trip at the beginning of the month to test out the new nine man tent that we cunningly bought for ourselves and each other for Christmas.
The first three were taken at Router Rocks which is situated behind the Druid's Inn in Birchover, the last two were taken at the Nine Ladies Stone Circle.

And did the tent pass the test?

Your black and white photos are lovely. We're going camping in July, which I am totally looking forward to.

I'd love to go camping. A nine-man tent (probably nine-'person' in U.S. money) sounds like base camp for many an adventure. I used to sleep out in France a lot but the thing that puts me off here in U.S. is the wildlife; I'm a-scared to even venture into the back yard at night for fear of the racoons and skunks and coyotes and what have yous. I know, a big wuss.

take care, moonpie, hope you are well.

Hello Anne-marie, hello Paul,
Yes the tent did pass the test. It's marvelous, it makes camping in big groups in the rain much easier, in the past if it began to rain that would bring an end to the party as everyone would have to retire to there own tents, now we can just pile into the big one and carry on.
Paul I don't blame you for being a litttle wary of the wildlife, all we have to contend with here are chocolate biscuit hungry hedgehogs who aren't exactly threatening but a little spooky when you hear them snaffling around at night. Last year when we went to see the Who in Leeds their was (apparently) some kind of big cat on the loose in the area, that was quite exciting!
Anne Marie, how's the wildlife up your way? Will you be camping in Canada? Well away from any bears I hope!
I am well thanks Paul. I just need to get on top of a few projects. Because I have so much to do I end up doing nothing or I start something new to add to the list. Anyway, apologies for been being a very slack blogger.
Hope everyone is in good fettle.
