Feeling much better thanks. Still not yet over the great time we had at the Green Man. Today I made my film. The video camera really very quickly ran out of battery so their is so much missing I'd have loved to include but nevermind. I'm quite pleased with the result anyhow. Mission accomplished! It was because I wanted to make a film about the Green Man that I became determined to get a new computer, one that would run imovies. It soon became apparent though that forking out for a new computer would mean that I couldn't afford a video camera, however my friend's mother came to the rescue and has lent me one she had won in a competition, I can borrow it as long as I'm putting it to some use and on the condition she gets to see what I do. So it all came together nicely in the end. So anyway here it is, my second film!

I enjoyed your film. Beer, tents, and music. What a perfect combination!

I'm getting seriously inerested in the whole "Green Man" thing. The pagan faiths were so very practical, and believable. May the Green man visit your allotment next spring! And if any of your readers don't know what the heck it's all about here's a cheeky link:

Oh Moonpie, I get to the "But at the back of mind I was hoping I might get by" and then it stops; I hear no more and see no more. Just when it had me hooked (Do I detect that the singer has a Scottish lilt?). I see about a minute but now I'm interested in the missing six: chocolate in a closed candy store. Judging by what ian_g said, it must be just me, so I'll go over to You Tube when I get home from work and see if I have better luck there.

I'm glad you're feeling better. Paul.

Ian,
The Oak King/Holly King aspect of the Green man has really captured my imagination recently. I keep coming across duality myths and am finding them incredibly resonate.
Your new oak painting is fantastic by the way!

Paul,
Sorry you couldn't get it to work, it appears ok this end, may just be a glitch. Yep, the singer King Creosote is Scottish, from fife I believe. I really like that about his voice, seems everybody sings with an american accent these days.

Hi Moonpie,
I really liked the movie. My favourite part was watching the little children smiling- how nice to be so young and free and hanging out at festivals with your parents. I like your little wave at the end. Good, clear footage of the audience.

Cheers,
AM

Just a quick comment to say ginab has been looking for your site address. I tried to mail it and leave it in her blog comment box but her security settings for both prevented me from doing so.

Cheers.
