I found this on You Tube and it made me laugh so thought I'd share it. It's the video of one of my favourite songs by Yo La Tengo called 'Tom Courtney.' Enjoy!
Hi Moonpie, thanks for stopping by my blog to say hello. I hope you're keeping well, and that the melting from the heat is over for you. It seems to have cooled off here in Paris, although forecasts for our flying home tomorrow indicate temps of 35C. :)
I'll catch up on your blog entries when I get back to my own computer, and look forward to reading them.
Hi Moonpie - I see you do share some of the trials and tribulations as I do; I hope you got over your Saturday. I do not mind people having a laugh at my misfortune; I sort of encourage it. Looks like anne-marie above is suffering temperatures similar to what we have in Boston. We are expecting something close to 40 tomorrow. Feels like I am in one of those world disaster movies, only the big crucial point in the movie is not blowing up an asteroid or something, but convincing everybody to swap their SUV’s for a hybrid. Hmm, not sure the typical Hollywood moviegoer would be into that.
Funny flick and I like the whole mention of Julie Christy. A very neat hat to boot!
So very glad it's cooler for you and for everyone I think and hope. Oddest thing to miss a heatwave (on an international scale!) by going to Spain. There's always a breeze (I'm addressing 'the world' here) in Terrife.
Just hit me I won't be seeing my pals, the ones that live overseas, everyday. :-(. Back home where my other pal, the one that walks on four legs, is very pleased to see me.
