Trivia Quiz.
The first person to tell me the location of this photo wins a jar of 'Moonpie's Magic Moon Grown Vegetable (Organic) Chutney.' (Please allow 6 months for the prize to arrive as the ingredients for the chutney have yet to be grown.) Let me know if clues are needed. (You don't need to be too specific!)

Yeah, Anne-Marie you've got it!
When your Chutney is ready I shall let you know (as I pointed out earlier though it maybe some time yet, maybe August some time.)
Have you been there? Isn't it funny that people go on pilgrimage to an alley round the back of a chinese takeaway to look at some graffiti and a locked gate! I went there about this time last year, my first visit to Brighton and I love it, I can hear it calling me back again for another visit soon. Brighton pier is beautiful don't you think? We spent ages daring the waves to splash us as they crashed against the rocks on the front and far too much time in the 'Heart and Hand' pub because the jukebox it just too good, that was our excuse anyway! Getting an urge to watch Quadrophenia just thinking about it.

Was there a clue in the fact that if you click to view bigger picture, the address bar reveals the title "Quadraphenia Alley"? (Whoops).

Regarding your comment on my blog. Yes, I think I've been a bit impatient. I've just got to sit back a little, relax, do things for ME, and let things fall into place in their own time. Which is one of the reasons I havn't been posting as much of late. Just breaking the train of thought a little.

Moonpie,
Yes, I was there with a group of Who friends the day before the Who Convention 2003- September, it was, and broiling hot in the UK. I had flown overnight, diverted to B'ham and then rerouted back to Heathrow and was soooo tired. We walked to all the Quad spots and went down Shag Alley and left some nice graffiti tags on the butternut yellow door.
I loved the visit. I still have the rocks from the beach- the pier had burned down when we were there, and it was sad to see. Maybe I'll put a few pictures on my blog on the weekend.

Thanks for the promise of chutney. I'll be UK bound in the summer, I could save you the postage. :)

Cheers,
AM

Wow! Anne Marie has an eye for detail. Then, I think you Moonpie were adopting the expression Jimmy bore when he returned. :-(

Neat.

Anne Marie,
It's a terrible shame about the west pier although it does still have an eerie mysterious allure. The East pier is still there however. I love the photos of The Who from the sixties stood in front of the east pier, in fact I have one on my wall.
Ian,
Mmm yes that does somewhat it away!
If you look really closely too there is another clue in a bit of graffiti that says 'Scottish Mods.'The funniest graffiti I saw there (and please excuse the vulgarity) was 'Leslie Ash show us your Gash', unfortunately that phrase will never leave my brain again. Anne Marie I hope that wasn't you're contribution.:)
Gina B,
LOL! Thats very true, although my expression wasn't caused by the dismay and disillusionment of youth, I just had a rather awful hangover.

I'll dig up the graffiti photos on the weekend sometime, but no, I wasn't that rude. I think I wrote "I'm One" or something unoriginal like that. :)

Yeah to a hangover. And to birds' nests. Cheers!

I LOVE the bag, by the way. Very nice. Rachel should see this one.

Gina,
Thanks, I bought it that very day in Brighton from Top Shop, unfortunately it faded when I washed it but you can't complain for £5.
Anne-Marie,
Cheers, I shall have a look.
